I bought Silent Hunter 5 and it had the same thing going on. They may be hurting themselves more with this DRM thing. I guess it hurts them because I didn't pay full price. Used games are almost as bad as piracy to a developer (Microsoft tried to rectify this with the original Xbox One plan). Remember every time you buy a used game, it hurts developers financially.
